Fatigue Monitoring Services

BDI supplies and configures turnkey Fatigue Monitoring Systems for tracking
live-load induced fatigue cycles due to normal traffic patterns. We help install the loggers and BDI Strain Transducers and then provide training for the customer so they can monitor, download, and analyze the data. Data can be downloaded and remotely viewed in real time or stored on a periodic basis.

Typically, stress cycles for specified ranges are stored using the ASTM “Rainflow” algorithm. Entire response histories can also be captured and stored for overloaded vehicle crossings.
