CM-3000™ Software

Description

The CM-3000™ software is a Microsoft® Windows-based program that integrates real-time graphing and data acquisition with a Microsoft® Access database to manage and organize the minimum clearances for each lane under a structure. The database is set up to print out bridge clearance reports and can also be easily imported into existing bridge management systems. 

User Interface

This interface displays the entire underside profile of each structure in real-time, with the minimum clearance being highlighted when the test is completed. Upon visual review by the operator, the minimum clearance is stored by simply hitting one key. While this value is being stored to the database, the information for the next structure along the route automatically pops up and the system is ready to record data, again, with the press of just one key.

Data Management

After the field testing is complete, all the test data is then stored and managed through Access. BDI can customize the database software to provide the proper format that various DOT's may require. Additionally, this data can be easily exported into a format that is compatible with any existing bridge management system.

Clearance Report

The final report can be printed out in various formats. One format is a comprehensive report that includes a photo of the structure if available, a small plan view of the structure, and lane lines with the minimum clearance for each lane line printed on the figure. All the clearance information for each pass is included with a small bitmap image of the graphical output during the test. This comprehensive report is also a great tool for examining the test data to ensure that the correct data is associated with the correct structure. In addition to the comprehensive report, a tabular, or condensed, report can be printed. This format includes all of the clearance information shown above with the exception of the photo, clearance figure, and clearance graphs.
